Euphthalmine

Euphthalmine is a drug that is used in ophthalmology to dilate the pupil and improve visual acuity during eye examinations. It is a derivative of atropine and is often used to treat various eye conditions, including glaucoma and cataracts. Euphthalmine works by binding to receptors in the eye that control pupil size, causing them to dilate and increase the amount of light entering the eye. This allows for a more comprehensive examination of the inside of the eye, including the retina, vitreous humor, and optic nerve.
